The Golden Gate in Jerusalem

The Bible deals with life and history of real people and specific places. This was the most important gate to Jerusalem in Jesus' time as the entrance to the holy place of the temple. Christians proclaimed Jesus would return and enter Jerusalem through this gate. So, Moslem leader Saladin had it sealed in 1187. As you can see, it is still sealed.
